Why are we voting on a weekday?

Seriously.

It makes no sense whatsoever.

Especially since there is no law that states that employers have to take the time out you take voting into consideration.

The argument that "people are lazy and won't show up on a weekend" is, frankly, bullshit.

Voting should take place on a weekend or be a national holiday.

It's almost as if America discourages voting...

Hmm, come to think of it, when you vote you become registered for civic duty as a jury member...

Hmmmmmmm...

So...

America DOES in reality discourage voting.
