Just brilliant - simple, to the point, and goes into the heart of the matter.

On an standard job application, a typical company puts in that it "is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer".

Equal Opportunity Employer - means that the company does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, age when hiring its employees.

Affirmative Action - means that the company does discriminate on the basis of sex, race, age when hiring its employees.

Just another paradox of our modern life - perhaps we should use a different word, other than paradox here?
