Info Post
I just did an internet search for Elie Wiesenthal's bogus number of gentile victims of the holocaust.

Funnily enough, the sources included rense, ihr and other far right sources - nothing from any mainstream publication.

I think this has been deliberately scrubbed, or at least an effort was made to have this not widely publicized.

So, here's a source other than the nazi or very far right or anything that, in an argument, an opponent will dismiss out of hand.

Jewish Review of Books:

In the 1970s, Wiesenthal began to refer to "eleven million victims" of the Holocaust, six million Jews and five million non-Jews, but the latter number had no basis in historical reality. On the one hand, the total number of non-Jewish civilians killed by the Germans in the course of World War II is far higher than five million. On the other hand, the number of non-Jewish civilians killed for racial or ideological reasons does not come close to five million (though it no doubt would have exceeded it if the war had ended in a German victory).

When Israeli historians Yehuda Bauer and Yisrael Gutman challenged Wiesenthal on this point, he admitted that he had invented the figure of eleven million victims in order to stimulate interest in the Holocaust among non-Jews. He chose five million because it was almost, but not quite, as large as six million. When Elie Wiesel asked Wiesenthal who these supposed five million victims were, Wiesenthal exploded and accused him of suffering from "Judeocentrism."

Full stop!

There were many, many, MANY more non jewish victims of nazi policies due to racial and ideological reasons than the five million - funny, while pointing out Elie Wiesel's falsehoods and lies, the jewish author inserts as a matter-of-fact another lie.

There were MORE non-jewish victims of the nazi WW2 outrages, not less.

Never forget, never forgive!

Wikipedia, Nazi crimes against ethnic Poles:

In addition to about 2.9 million Polish Jews (mostly killed in Operation Reinhard), about 2.8 million non-Jewish Polish citizens perished during the course of World War II. Two million were ethnic Poles, the remaining 500,000 were mainly ethnic minority Ukrainians and Belarusians living in Poland.

The majority of those killed by Nazi Germany were civilians (exceeding military deaths nearly 10:1).

The nazis, as a matter of deliberate policy, set out to "kill off" Soviet prisoners of war, simply by marching them to death, not feeding them, letting them die off from infections.

Wikipedia, Soviet Slavs and POWs:

During Operation Barbarossa, the Axis invasion of the Soviet Union, millions of Red Army prisoners of war (POWs) were arbitrarily executed in the field by the invading German armies (in particular by the Waffen SS), died under inhuman conditions in German prisoner of war camps and during death marches, or were shipped to concentration camps for execution. The Germans killed an estimated 2.8 million Soviet POWs through starvation, exposure and summary execution, in a mere eight months over 1941 and 1942.

According to the US Holocaust Museum, by the winter of 1941, "starvation and disease resulted in mass death of unimaginable proportions". Up to 500,000 were killed in the concentration camps.

The Russian Academy of Science in 1995 reported civilian victims in the USSR, including Jews at German hands, totaled 13.7 million dead, 20% of the 68 million persons in the occupied USSR, including 7.4 million victims of Nazi genocide and reprisals; 2.2 million deaths of persons deported to Germany for forced labor; and 4.1 million famine and disease deaths in occupied territory. There were an additional estimated 3.0 million famine deaths in the territory not under German occupation.

Disabled people:

People with disabilities were also among the first to be killed by the Nazis; the United States Holocaust Memorial museum notes that the T-4 Euthanasia Program, established in 1939, became the "model" for future exterminations by the Nazi regime, and set a precedent for their attempted Jewish genocide.

The T-4 Program was established in order to maintain the "purity" of the so-called Aryan race by systematically killing children and adults born with physical deformities or suffering from mental illness; this included use of the first gas chambers. Although Hitler formally ordered a halt to the T-4 program in late August 1941, the killings secretly continued until the war’s end, resulting in the murder of an estimated 275,000 people with disabilities.

I have talked to my grandma, who survived first the German occupation, where she was a child learning math, french language, polish language in an underground school in a private apartment (the nazis forbid polish children to study up to high school level - the penalty if found out was, as for everything, death) and her polish friend, who still has the tatooed number on her arm from her childhood days of being a slave in a nazi weapons factory...

The thing is their stories are gone from the narrative, the victims who died who happened to be non-jews are forgotten, because their is ein narrative, ein volk, ein suffering until the final sieg... and the "wrong" victims don't count, as they distill the (very useful politically) meme...

For a primer, read up on just the suffering of one nation, Poland, during the nazi occupation and outrages...

Failing everything, at the least learn about "Lapanka":

Roundup (history).

And yes, my grandma's friend (roman catholic for the record) was randomly grabbed and sent off to be a slave in one of those.
